in our efforts to increase public awareness of sarcoma and the need to do more to fight this disease. More than 68 teams in 12 different countries and 20 states within the United States have planned events as part of the 2008 Team Sarcoma Initiative. We hope to have more than 5,000 participants worldwide.

CRUISE FOR A CURE
AT LAKE RAYSTOWN!!
Sunday, July 13, 2008, 1:30 – 3:00 PM

The cruise will leave the Seven Points Marina at 1:30 PM and return at 3:00 PM.
Enjoy a 1 1/2 hour narrated sightseeing cruise along 23 miles of the most beautiful shoreline of Raystown Lake. During the cruise you’ll pass many points of historical interest. You may also get the chance to see some very interesting wildlife, including the lake’s resident bald eagles. Be sure to bring your binoculars! You’ll also hear an update of Brian Morden Foundation (BMF) activities, Team Sarcoma 2008, and a list of opportunities for you to continue helping to make a difference in the lives of childhood cancer patients and their families. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is sponsoring the tickets for local childhood cancer patients as part of the BMF’s Fun on the Fourth Brian Bags.

Adults: $10.00
Seniors 65 & Up: $9.00
Children ages 4-12: $3.00
Children under 4 ride FREE with Mom & Dad
Additional contributions to the BMF for sarcoma research would be greatly appreciated.

POLICIES:

• No pets permitted on board
• No food permitted on board

Plans are also being made to stop for an early dinner or ice-cream treat at Paesano’s in Alexandria on our way back to Altoona. Everyone is welcome to join us for a delicious meal and more fun.
